About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fundraising and Marketing Officer to join our team at Green Light Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising and marketing strategies to support our mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify new fundraising opportunities to grow our income and impact
  • Develop and implement fundraising campaigns and appeals, and create engaging communications to build our supporter base and generate income
  • Monitor and track our fundraising progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of our channels and campaigns
  • Ensure accurate and compliant management of supporter data, and maintain strong relationships with donors and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with finance colleagues to ensure accurate recording and reporting of donations and other income
  • Contribute to the development of compelling content for marketing channels, including copywriting, photography, and video production
  • Manage and schedule social media content to engage our audience and promote our campaigns
  • Produce regular reports on marketing and fundraising activities to inform our strategy and decision-making
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fundraising and marketing, with a strong understanding of grants, trusts, and fundraising principles
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using marketing and fundraising software, including Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM systems
  • Strong digital marketing skills, with experience in social media and online engagement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Passion for our mission and values, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and making a positive impact
