Emergency Care Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Wharfedale Urgent Treatment Centre. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and experience in working independently in a healthcare setting. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with minor injuries and illnesses, as well as providing education and support to patients and their families.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and effective communication. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with minor injuries and illnesses
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and effective communication
- Contribute to the development of our services and quality improvement initiatives
- Registered General Nurse or Registered Paramedic with experience in emergency care
- Postgraduate qualification in emergency care or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
