Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at St. Andrew's Prep in Eastbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs, while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional and culinary needs of our students
* Lead a dynamic kitchen team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and efficiency
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and service
* Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume, quality-focused environment
* Ability to manage, train, and support a team of chefs
* Financially astute, with excellent analytical and budgeting skills
* Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills
* Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, creative environment
