We are seeking a highly skilled self-employed therapeutic social worker to join our team at Adoption Matters. The successful candidate will provide specialist advice and support to adoptive families, working closely with them to address the complex needs of children who have experienced trauma.

Located in Chester, this role offers the opportunity to work from home with online sessions, as well as travel to families for face-to-face support where required. A Diploma in Social Work or equivalent qualification is essential, alongside experience of working in adoption and post-adoption therapeutic services.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and colleagues. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances are also essential.

This self-employed role requires a high level of autonomy and flexibility, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to meet the needs of our clients. As a result, the successful candidate will be motivated, self-disciplined and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £30 per hour.
