Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MR Clinical Scientist to lead our team of medical physicists. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing technical and scientific support for our MRI services, working closely with clinicians, radiographers, and other team members.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert scientific advice and support for MRI services, including safety aspects and quality assurance
  • Develop and implement protocols for MRI equipment, including acceptance testing and quality control
  • Deputise for the Head of MR Physics and Trust MR Safety Expert as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in physical sciences (e.g., physics, engineering)
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a clinical scientist
  • MSc in Medical Physics or equivalent experience

Salary and Benefits:

£70,000-£90,000 per annum, depending on experience
