Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Powered Access Engineer to join our team in the Midlands region. As a Field Service Powered Access Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our powered access equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on powered access equipment, including booms, telehandlers, forklifts, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, and dumper trucks.
  • Conduct site visits to diagnose and resolve equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of equipment issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and manufacturer recommendations to ensure our equipment is always in top condition.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the powered access sector or a related field, such as forklift trucks or heavy earth moving plant.
  • Strong technical knowledge of powered access equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the Midlands region.

  • A competitive salary based on experience, with a guideline of between £35-40K per annum.
