Role Overview

In this Construction Management Trainee position, you will be part of a dynamic team at Tilbury Douglas and play a key role in managing construction projects from the ground up. Your primary responsibilities will include site security, health and safety, and supervising materials and personnel. You will have the opportunity to coordinate site-based construction projects, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate site-based construction projects to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including financial and quality control metrics.

Expected Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary estimate is based on industry standards for similar roles in London and the South East region.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Five GCSEs at grade 9-4 (or A*-C), including English and Math & a science.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in construction management.
