Overview
As a key member of the Triumph Group supply chain team, the Work Transfer Manager will be responsible for managing the transfer of work between suppliers in the UK and those in lower-cost economies. This role will involve close collaboration with the in-region team and other business functions to ensure a smooth transition of work and compliance with customer requirements.
• Manage Work Transfer Projects in line with Triumph supply chain management processes, defining project deliverables, risk assessments, and detailed project planning
• Liaise with the business and supply chain resources in lower-cost economies to ensure successful transfer of work
• Work closely with the in-region team to ensure supplier technical requirements reviews, production readiness, and first article flow plans are robust and in place
• Support visits from suppliers for business reviews, technical assessments, and other activities
• Manage POs for parts in the Work Transfer phase and exit supplier relationships to ensure orderly transfer and minimal risk to the business
• Report progress to business leaders and corporate supply chain leadership on a regular basis
• Support the improvement of Triumph supply chain processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Management or a related field (ideally Supply Chain) or Engineering
CIPS or APICS qualification is preferred
Skills:
Strong project management skills and experience
Excellent organisational skills, time management, and multitasking
Familiarity with Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, and Production Planning concepts
Excellent IT skills - MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Collaboration and teamwork across international multicultural workforce
