About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced academic to join our Sport, Coaching and PE department as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Sports Coaching and Physical Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and leading modules on our Sport Coaching & Physical Education degree and the BA Physical Education programme.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and physical education, with a proven track record of teaching and research in this field. They will be able to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential, and contribute to the development of our research active teaching team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and lead modules on our Sport Coaching & Physical Education degree and the BA Physical Education programme
  • Contribute to the development of our research active teaching team
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with our partners in the sports industry
  • Support students' professional development and employability
  • Use a range of approaches to support student learning, including digital resources
