As a Product Security Engineer at BAE Systems, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and testing the most advanced submarines ever operated by the Royal Navy. Our team is dedicated to providing a powerful and secure deterrent for the United Kingdom, and we need your expertise to ensure our products meet the highest security standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will support the business in managing software and Product Security aspects of specific systems through design, manufacture, integration, and test. This will involve:

  • Conducting Product Security risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure secure requirements are developed and considered in system design.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to help them understand the product threat landscape and select appropriate security controls.
  • Developing and delivering security-related topics to the Product Security team.
  • Conducting Threat modelling to ensure selected security controls adequately secure the product.
  • Contributing to cross-functional working groups within the Programme or Business to ensure a comprehensive understanding of Product Security.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. As a minimum requirement, you'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree.
