We are seeking an experienced Senior Childcare Lawyer and Advocate to join our client's team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in children's social services law and be able to provide high-level legal advice.
The salary for this role is estimated to be between £49,083 and £61,619 per annum, depending on experience.
This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of condensed hours. Our client offers a range of benefits, including a local government pension scheme, bike loan, season tickets, and discounts in local cafes and shops.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing a team to deliver high-performance results.
- Providing expert legal advice to the Council.
- Undertaking complex casework and advocating on behalf of clients.
Requirements:
- Current practising certificate as a Barrister, Solicitor, or Legal Executive.
- Strong experience in children's social services law.
- Ability to communicate complex legal information effectively.
