We are seeking a highly skilled Counterparty Credit Risk Expert to join our team, offering a competitive salary of $130,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing counterparty risks for a diverse portfolio, including hedge funds, insurance companies, and agent lenders. The role involves working across a range of banking products such as derivatives, margin loans, and revolving credit facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: Develop and implement effective strategies to manage counterparty risks.
  • Credit Analysis: Conduct comprehensive credit analysis on hedge funds and non-bank financial institutions, including client due diligence.
  • Transaction Review: Evaluate and respond to ad-hoc transaction requests, providing clear risk assessments.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver timely, high-quality reports for proactive risk management.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyse credit/market risk portfolio trends and concentrations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and contribute to system-related risk projects.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or finance field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are desirable.
  • Experience: 4+ years' experience in credit risk management, particularly with funds or agency lending.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with financial products and master documentation (ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA).
  • Skills: Strong analytical, organisational, and IT skills, including advanced Excel.
  • Presentation: Proactive and team-oriented, with excellent communication abilities.
