About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Delivery Driver. As the face of Tesco on the road, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive their shopping in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering Customer Shopping Trips
    • Ensure the van and trays are clean and organized
    • Leave the back yard clean and tidy
    • Wash trays as part of the tray wash process
    • Load the van as required and check for roadworthiness
    • Talk to customers about changes to their order
    • Take care of products and deliveries
    • Deliver during the customer's time slot
    • Call customers before arriving at their property if early
    • Call the store if running 30 or more minutes late
  • Building Relationships and Teamwork
    • Build relationships with colleagues to create a positive team environment
    • Work together to ensure the store is the best it can be for customers
  • Providing Excellent Customer Service
    • Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues

  • Driving and Logistics
    • Hold a UK/EU/EEA driving license (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
