Job Title: Process Engineer - Cell Optimization

Unilever is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer - Cell Optimization to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our cell processes, ensuring efficient and effective production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owns stops and performance data analytics for the line, providing insights for meetings and supporting the line team with further analytics.
  • Develops and implements line settings processes, ensuring continuous improvement and deployment.
  • Leads SMED workshops to improve changeover processes and owns the problemsolving process for the line.
  • Supports building problem solving capability in operators and coaches them on processes.
  • Develops and executes distinct areas of the 90-day plan and weekly/monthly plans, supporting loss elimination efforts.
About You:
  • Able to visualize clearly what the ideal production system is.
  • Able to clearly understand operating principles and establish correct operating standards.
  • Able to present findings and rationales clearly so that the whole factory team can understand.
  • Able to make logical decisions based on data.
  • Able to prioritize effectively between daily losses (sporadic) and long-term losses (Chronic).
Entry Routes:
  • Direct Entry role for post graduates engineers with a flair for improvement engineering and coaching.
  • Direct Entry role for post Level 4 apprentices or experienced shift engineer/focused technicians with an aptitude for loss and waste elimination.
  • Progression role for operating technicians with a strong technical knowledge of the processes and lines.
