Autism Support Worker Position Available

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team in Sunderland. This full-time role offers stability and the opportunity to support students with complex needs on the autistic spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with autism in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Assist students with classwork and daily routines as needed
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement Education Healthcare Plans (EHCPs)

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an Autism Teaching Assistant or Support Worker is preferred but not essential
  • A positive and encouraging attitude
  • Experience in behaviour management
