About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Academic Learning Mentor to join our team at Plumstead Manor School. As a key member of our Pathways Provision, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable learners and promoting academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a tailored curriculum to meet the needs of vulnerable learners
  • Implement graduated early help interventions to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Liaise with staff across the school to disseminate best practice and promote high expectations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
  • Build strong links with other professionals and outside agencies
Requirements
  • Familiarity with best practice in teaching students with specific learning and special educational needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of staff and professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
