Quality Assurance Engineer Opportunity at Permanent Futures

Persistent Futures has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in a leading manufacturing company's brand new purpose-built manufacturing facility.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have a solid understanding of ISO 9001 and previous experience as a lead or principal quality engineer, taking charge of a broad range of quality management activities. This is a generalist role covering ISO 9001 management, customer complaints, root cause analysis, and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate customer complaints using root cause analysis and other tools, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct quality risk assessments.
  • Perform supplier audits and analyze supplier and sub-contractor performance, implementing improvement measures.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience and working knowledge of ISO 9001 management system development, implementation, and improvement.
  2. Practical experience of working with and implementing quality improvement techniques – Six Sigma, LEAN Manufacturing, and problem-solving tools such as root cause analysis, 8D, fishbone diagrams, and five whys.
