About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at The Cherry Tree. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the development of our menu and ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and implementation
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring efficient service and high standards
  • Develop and maintain a positive and productive team environment
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new and innovative dishes
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety, EHO, and HACCP standards
  • Assist with rotas, training, and management responsibilities
Requirements
  • Proven culinary skills and experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor
