Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Domestic Assistant to provide a high-quality environmental cleanliness service in a healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow cleaning procedures and work schedules to ensure environmental cleaning standards are achieved and maintained.
- Adhere to all Domestic/Support Services Policies and Procedures, including COSHH, Colour Coding, Food Safety Regulations, and Waste Management.
- Carry out cleaning duties in all areas, including clinical, sanitary, kitchens, waiting areas, offices, and more.
- Observe correct use and care of machinery, equipment, and materials.
- Empty and clean waste bins, removing waste bags and placing them for collection.
- Assist with ordering and maintaining stocks of supplies.
- Practice good hygiene in all aspects of work.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A background in cleaning or a related field is preferred.
