The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of multi-skilled engineers to ensure production machinery operates at optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and improve the planned preventative maintenance system to enable a more proactive maintenance approach.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop long-term solutions to prevent machinery and equipment failures.

Requirements:

  • Relevant HNC, apprenticeship or degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Proven supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Ability to manage and develop a small team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers.
  • Experience with CMMS and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary between £45,000 to £50,000.
  • Performance-based annual bonus of 10% of yearly salary.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
