About the Job:

We are recruiting a Quality Control Technician to work closely with our QC and workroom manager at People Marketing Fashion Recruitment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for luxury womenswear/bridalwear to join our team and contribute to maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
  1. Quality Assurance: Perform day-to-day quality checks, ensuring garments meet our quality expectations.
  2. Communication: Collaborate with machinists and other departments to resolve quality issues.
  3. Data Management: Document and report quality checks, issues, and feedback on our system.
  4. Packing and Dispatch: Prepare and pack dresses ready for dispatch and produce dispatch notes as necessary.
  5. Issue Resolution: Identify and communicate re-occurring style/pattern issues to the Quality and Workroom manager and assist in finding solutions.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Fashion or textile-related degree or relevant qualification.
  • At least 2 years' experience working in fashion/bridal wear.
  • Understanding of measuring garments and patterns.
  • Desirable: knowledge of altering patterns and proficiency in Gerber software.
  • Excellent sewing and construction skills.
  • A keen interest in luxury womenswear/bridalwear.
  • Highly organized and proactive.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs and our internal system.
