We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team at Paradigm Housing Group. As a key member of our Surveying Services Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our 16,000+ properties across the South East.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in building surveys, defect diagnosis, and managing contractors and budgets. Proven expertise in planned maintenance and JCT contracts is highly desirable.

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will work closely with our experienced Surveying Services Manager to tackle a diverse range of property challenges. You will be responsible for conducting property surveys and diagnosing defects, including damp, mould, structural issues, disrepair, and HHSRS/Fitness for Human Habitation assessments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting property surveys and inspections
  • Managing investment works from project inception to completion
  • Supporting Fire Risk Assessments and scoping remedial works
  • Providing expert advice on structural alterations and party wall matters

A competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum is offered for this position, depending on experience. In addition, you will benefit from a supportive team environment, opportunities for professional development, and a range of excellent benefits.
