About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Early Help Coordinator to join our Advice, Guidance & Support Team within Gloucestershire County Council's Children's Services. As an Early Help Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting practitioners and partners in the community who work directly with children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside practitioners from various organizations to identify the needs and resources of children and families, and agree on next steps to ensure effective support.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate Early Help services that make a positive difference for children, families, and communities.
  • Develop and deliver practitioner training and upskill practitioners through coaching and mentoring to disseminate best practice in meeting the emerging needs of children and families.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with children, young people, families, and/or communities, with a proven track record of effective partnership working.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work creatively with partners to meet the needs of children, young people, families, and communities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
