Detail 2 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Maintenance Specialist to join their team in the Glasgow area. This is an exciting opportunity for a crane engineer with knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical service work to take on new challenges.

Job Summary

We are working with a manufacturing provider who requires an experienced Overhead Crane Maintenance Specialist to maintain, inspect, and repair all overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and/or mechanical service work and be able to provide excellent maintenance services.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Provide expert advice on electrical and mechanical system upgrades
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize crane performance
Requirements
  • Proven experience in electrical and/or mechanical service work
  • Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
