Job Overview

Elevation Recruitment Group is currently partnering with Severfield, a leading specialist structural steelwork company in the UK, to fill the position of a Quantity Surveyor.

This role offers a unique blend of remote work and occasional office visits, providing an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in the Nuclear and Infrastructure division.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on high-value and critical projects, building relationships with prominent clients in the infrastructure sector, specifically JCT contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver successful commercial infrastructure projects as part of a collaborative team
  • Manage commercial aspects from contract award to completion and final account
  • Effectively manage variations and changes with customers
  • Contribute to an experienced commercial team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful and profitable outcomes
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a QS or Assistant QS
  • Construction industry experience in a commercial role
  • JCT Contracts experience
  • Experience with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence
  • Desirable: understanding of fabrication processes
  • Experience in managing and delivering variations while maintaining relationships
