About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Exeter Leisure. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising the efficient operation of all recreational activities and driving continuous improvement in the management and operation of the Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate the team to deliver consistently high standards of service to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensure the Centre operates efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and activities.
  • Monitor and report on Centre performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a leisure environment.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety principles and practices.
  • Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Pool Plant Operators Certificate.
