We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Applied Clinical Psychologist to join our Walsall Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT). Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop effective care plans to support individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Provide brief psychological interventions and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, carers, and other stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in regular reflective practice groups and supervision to ensure ongoing professional development and support.

Person Specification- Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology (or equivalent) as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Postdoctoral training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
- HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
- Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees.
- Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development.
- Experience working as a qualified applied psychologist within a mental health service, including a wide range of client groups and care settings.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice relevant to the role of working with people's complex mental health difficulties.
- Risk assessment and risk management skills.
