Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Communication Expert to join our multidisciplinary Older Persons Community and in-patient Mental Health Therapy Service.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 18 months experience working with older people and evidence of continuing professional development.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a band 7 Speech and Language Therapy Clinical Lead and Band 5 Speech and language Therapist, as part of our team providing specialist care and management to older adults.

  • We offer a competitive salary of £34,459 - £48,526 per annum, depending on experience.
  • As a Clinical Communication Expert, you will receive regular supervision and professional development is positively encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake treatment planning, communicating and negotiating treatment plans with clients and their carers.
  • Provide specialist professional advice regarding the management and care of patients with dementia &/or feeding and swallowing difficulties, where appropriate.
  • Participate in clinical audit, research and evidence-based practice.
