We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Somerset Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our residents.

Job Summary:

The LPN Night Shift Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients as assigned, administering and recording medications and treatments, and preparing for and assisting with diagnostic procedures and treatments. You will also be responsible for reinforcing supports and providing health care instructions to patients and their families, participating in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, and observing and reporting patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients as assigned
  • Administer and record medications and treatments
  • Prepare for and assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments
  • Reinforce supports and provide health care instructions to patients and their families
  • Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care
  • Observe and report patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current LPN license, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed.
