Head of Communications

Braundton Consulting Limited is seeking a seasoned communications professional to lead our Corporate Affairs team and drive strategic communications for a prestigious arts college in Sidcup.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to engage key stakeholders and promote the college's vision.
  • Oversee social media and SEO efforts to enhance online presence and reputation.
  • Manage content creation and distribution across all channels, including press releases, media relations, and crisis communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic media partners and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales campaigns.
  • Participate in the Crisis Communications team to ensure timely and effective response to crises.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in communications and reputation management, with a strong background in the arts sector.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to inform communications strategies.
  • Experience in crisis communications and reputation management.
  • Strong execution skills and a consultative approach to problem-solving.
  • Understanding of compliance in regulated industries, ideally Higher Education.
