Electrical Design Engineer/Estimator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer/Estimator to join our client, a reputable MEP contractor working on various projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and submit design projects for tender and pre-tender stages
  2. Communicate with clients on post-tender submissions and negotiate necessary adjustments
  3. Build and maintain client relationships to drive business growth

Main Tasks:

  1. Prepare and review tender and pre-tender documentation for client submissions
  2. Review client scope and design projects to meet specifications
  3. Attend post-tender meetings and negotiate contract awards
  4. Maintain regular communication with clients to foster long-term relationships
  5. Support project handover to operations and propose improvements to systems
  6. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements:

  1. City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or NVQ Level 3
  2. 3-4 years of experience in electrical estimating
  3. Experience in temporary services

Salary: £50-55k plus car
