Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team at Brammer Buck & Hickman. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth logistical operation of our workshop, ensuring that all related jobs are carried out efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Workshop Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of our workshop, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and support our workshop staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties effectively.
  • Delivery and Logistics: Oversee the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Communication and Administration: Liaise with our administration team to ensure that all records and data are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, and that the workshop is maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain and supervise the use of our company vehicles, ensuring that they are in good working order and that all necessary checks are completed.
  • Tooling and Equipment: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our workshop tools and equipment, ensuring that they are in good working order.
  • Asset Management: Maintain and update our workshop asset list, ensuring that all assets are accurately recorded and accounted for.
  • Paperwork and Reporting: Compile and maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring that all necessary information is available to the management team.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, demonstrating a positive and supportive attitude towards your colleagues, and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems as they arise, ensuring that the workshop operates efficiently and effectively.
Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a workshop or industrial maintenance environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
