Job Description:
Our client, First Base, is seeking an experienced Construction Equipment Operator to join their team on a construction project in Wrington, North Somerset.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience operating heavy plant machinery, such as excavators, dumpers, and rollers, for groundwork activities. This role is essential to the successful execution of groundwork and plant operations, requiring attention to safety, teamwork skills, and adherence to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy plant machinery for groundwork activities.
- Work from project specifications and follow the directions of site supervisors and foremen.
Requirements:
- Valid Plant Operator Tickets (e.g., CPCS or NPORS).
- CSCS Card.
- Experience in Groundworks.
Estimated Salary: £15,000 - £20,000 (based on a 6-month contract at £150-£200 per day).
