English Teacher Job in Oldham

We are working in partnership with several secondary schools in Oldham who are seeking enthusiastic and committed English teachers to join their teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching English: Delivering engaging and creative English lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Lesson Planning: Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Student Progress: Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
  • Department Development: Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Participating in extracurricular activities such as school trips.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
  • Experience: Recent experience teaching English at secondary school level.
  • Behaviour Management: Strong behaviour/classroom management.
  • Collaboration: The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
