**Job Title:** Operations Support Manager

 

As an Operations Support Manager at CDM Recruitment, you will play a critical role in providing day-to-day operational support to ensure the smooth running of our business. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including assisting the product management team in collecting and managing product information across the entire portfolio.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Collect and manage product information across the entire portfolio.
  2. Develop knowledge of products, including applications, features, and unique selling points.
  3. Help present product performance metrics, including sales revenue, margins, and pricing, segmented by market, region, and key customers.
  4. Conduct competitive research to provide insights on product comparisons in sales, margins, pricing, and USPs.
  5. Support the creation of new product specifications to guide the development team.
  6. Gather and organize sales data to facilitate the building of business cases and aid in sales forecasting and margin targets.
  7. Assist in planning and executing product sales and marketing strategies.
  8. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials, such as data sheets and catalogues.
  9. Coordinate the production of installation videos and animations with external consultants.
  10. Help generate and deliver sales presentations for the sales team.
  11. Provide support for internal and external product training sessions.
  12. Capture and categorize ongoing product feedback from customers for the product management team.
  13. Research and compile information to assist in product-related decision-making.

 

Person Specification:

 

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a similar role supporting product managers or marketing/business management teams.
  • Basic understanding of business principles and analytical skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and compile findings into understandable documents.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and communicate product information to stakeholders.
  • Good problem-solving skills and adaptability.
