We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Farming team as a Graduate Farming Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will assist in a wide range of farming matters, gaining knowledge and experience to develop a career in Farm Management Consultancy.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the farming team with farm management activities, including contract farming agreements, farm business issues, financial monitoring, and technical advice.
- Develop and maintain a set of client contacts, driving business development and providing commercial business advice.
- Advising on environmental issues, farm diversification, and compliance with current and upcoming government legislation and guidance.
- Assist with preparing internal and external reports, maintaining and developing relevant personal and technical skills.
- A great communicator, both written and oral, with excellent research and analytical skills.
- A team player, able to develop a close working relationship with colleagues, with a commercially astute and numerate approach.
- Ambitious, energetic, self-motivated, curious, and happy to network with a business development oriented attitude.
- Interested in farming and food production systems, with experience of hands-on practical farming and an interest in Rural or heritage property.
