Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Shop Manager in leading, training, and developing our team of sales assistants. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the store, including managing stock, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Shop Manager in managing store schedules and objectives, ensuring all employees meet their targets.
  • Train, lead, and develop the sales team to achieve excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Manage branch stock and produce, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Prepare food in line with company specifications, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to customers.
  • Maintain the highest level of hygiene and food safety standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Open or close the shop as required, ensuring a smooth transition of duties.
  • Run shifts at various times during the week, including when the Shop Manager is on annual leave.
  • Drive sales growth and minimize wastage, working closely with the Shop Manager to achieve business objectives.
