EHS Manager Job Description

Clockwork Organisation ltd is seeking a highly skilled EHS Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring full site compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure site compliance with HSE regulations, including fire safety, security, and waste management.
  • Statutory Requirements: Oversee the identification and interpretation of statutory HSE requirements and policy obligations, supporting our Quality Management System.
  • External Interactions: Manage interactions with external HSE agencies, contractors, and regulatory authorities as necessary.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and deliver all required HSE training across the site.
  • Incident Investigation: Take ownership of and complete all HSE-related risk assessments, maintain compliance with HSE systems, and lead investigations into incidents.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with operational and engineering teams, based on audit findings, near misses, and hazard identification.
  • Site Audits: Conduct self-inspections and audits of the site and surrounding areas, maintaining strong relationships with landlords and local security teams.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on HSE performance.
  • Facilities Management: Support facilities management activities and contribute to site business continuity plans when needed.
Requirements:
  • HSE Experience: HSE management / Co-Ordinator experience.
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification.
  • IT Literacy: IT literate.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
