Occupational Therapist

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Community team. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in assessing the functional needs of adults in their homes and community settings, and providing leadership and supervision to junior staff.
Main Responsibilities- Assess the functional needs of adults in their homes and community settings, using evidence-based and client-centered principles.
- Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, using evidence-based and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff, including supervision, competencies, and appraisal.
- Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of Therapy services within a designated area/team, holding responsibility for defined projects.
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of the Trust's Therapy service.
- Regularly supervise Occupational Therapy students on practice placements.
