Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Deployment Team Lead to join our McDonald's Corporation team. As a key member of our Global Technology team, you will be responsible for the successful execution of the Restaurant Technology Roadmap across 19 IDL Europe Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deployment Delivery:
    • Ensure the timely delivery of 100% of the IDL EU Restaurant Technology Roadmap
    • Support the preparation and readiness of markets for the deployment of the solution, including training, documentation, capacity, and support
    • Proactively identify and establish dependencies for the deployment of the solution
    • Act as a point of escalation for deployment team, suppliers, and markets for all areas of solution deployment
    • Collaborate with Solution Services team on solution bundle transition and/or training matters to ensure a rapid and repeatable deployment process
    • Work in close partnership with Digital team on digital activation aspects relevant to the solution deployment
    • Provide a bridge between Market deployment activity and Segment Lead to enable collaborative support to Markets
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Maintain a strong partnership with our MEA counterpart to ensure efficiencies and a one McDonald's way
    • Ensure that risk management and mitigation is carried out routinely and effectively
    • Represent the IDL Deployment Team in wider engagements to build visibility and brand reputation to our external customers
  • Financial Management:
    • Conduct the EU market chargeback process

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable track record of deployment of solutions into multiple markets/regions
  • Knowledgeable in areas of Delivery, e-commerce, POS (Point of Sale Systems), and Customer Engagement platforms
  • Experience in project management with store-level execution required
  • Experience in deployment of technical solutions across a network of geographically dispersed and/or high number of sites (e.g. stores, restaurants, countries) preferred
  • Experience in technical product lifecycle management from product development, through to testing and pilot management, and ending with mass deployment
  • Ability to oversee the development of project schedules, communication of deadlines, enforce project deadlines, and creatively solve issues
  • Able to work with culturally diverse teams across levels in a global organization and in an extensively outsourced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, must prioritize effectively, be organized, and meticulous
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, agile environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in engineering, computer science, or technology field preferred
  • Project management qualification is desired
