This role is based at our Hop Hub Site in Motherwell, and you must be located within commuting distance. As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring stock levels in the warehouse are accurate, investigating discrepancies, and engaging with various branches of the business to ensure stock is available for customer orders.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure stock levels in the warehouse are accurate by undertaking regular lane checks, cycle counts, and face pick checks.
- Investigate any discrepancies or queries with regard to stock levels using SAP and WMS resources.
- Engage closely with various branches of the business to ensure stock in the warehouse is accurate and available for customer orders.
- Create and organise destruction loads for damaged/spoilt stock, following HMRC guidelines and completing the appropriate legal and financial paperwork.
- Create and supply various reports and detailed analysis of stock levels to provide the business with up to date information.
- Aid with goods in process by ensuring purchase orders are set up correctly.
- Follow hold and release process.
- Engage with third party warehouses to ensure consistent stock levels are showing across both warehouse systems.
We're looking for someone with great communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Previous experience in an office-based role and within a customer-focused or FMCG environment is essential. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and have experience of IT systems, including SAP and WMS systems. Experience of working to deadlines and outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping are also required.
