About the Company

Tennial Personnel is a leading UK port business offering end-to-end supply chain solutions. With headquarters based in the Northeast of England, we own and operate 11 key ports and logistics centres across the UK, employing over 1,400 people nationwide.

We are committed to retaining and developing talent nationwide, and we are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all service levels are achieved and product integrity is maintained at all times.

The ideal candidate will have excellent management skills, with experience in managing warehouse operations and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for setting and delivering against budget revenues and costs, as well as implementing cost-effective ideas to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our business. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Management of all warehouse operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Setting and delivering against budget revenues and costs, including implementing cost-effective ideas to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintenance of facilities to prevent stock losses, while maintaining accurate stock control through inventory checks.
  • Ensuring timely movements into and out of the warehouse are planned and accomplished.
  • Optimizing warehouse space usage using the appropriate resources and personnel.

  • Excellent management skills, with experience in managing warehouse operations.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop customer relationships at various levels.
