We are seeking an Internal Controls Specialist to join our team as a Compliance Lead. The successful candidate will have a strong background in internal controls and a proven track record of implementing effective compliance programs.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing and implementing our company's internal controls and compliance programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing internal processes and operations to identify and resolve potential compliance issues.

The salary for this role is estimated at $125,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the required level of experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement robust internal controls to ensure accuracy, reliability, and integrity of financial reporting.
  2. Analyze and assess risks associated with internal processes and operations, identifying areas for improvement.
  3. Provide training and guidance to employees on internal controls and compliance matters, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
  4. Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and external partners to stay informed about changing regulations and industry developments.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in internal controls and compliance, preferably in the financial sector.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  4. Familiarity with internal controls frameworks and regulatory requirements.
