We are seeking a skilled Visiting Assistant Professor to join our faculty in the Political Science Department at University at Albany. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to teach courses in Public Law and contribute to the department's undergraduate program.

The appointment is for the academic year 2024-2025, with the possibility of renewal for AY2025-2026. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach one of four courses, including a topics course of their design and an introductory course in Public Law. Additionally, they will have the chance to teach racial and ethnic politics or contribute to the department's diversity efforts.

Applicants should have completed or be close to submitting their dissertation from a university accredited by a USDOE or internationally accrediting organization. They must also demonstrate an ability to develop inclusive and equitable relationships within our diverse campus community and support diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and belonging relative to their role.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
