Windows Automation Engineer

£45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits

We are seeking a skilled Windows Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts and tools to streamline Windows infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement automation scripts and tools to improve Windows infrastructure management
  2. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable product delivery
  3. Utilize Ansible for configuration management and automation of Windows environments
  4. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for task automation and system management
  5. Use Terraform to manage infrastructure as code (IaC) and automate the provisioning of Windows resources
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency
  7. Monitor and troubleshoot automation processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  8. Apply agile methodologies to manage and deliver product increments efficiently
Requirements:
  1. Ability to achieve UK SC Clearance (UK Passport holder)
  2. Previous experience as a Windows Automation Engineer or similar role
  3. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and administration
  4. Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines
  5. Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management
  6. Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell
  7. Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
  8. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  9. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  10. Experience with agile methodologies and product management principles
  11. Strong communication and collaboration abilities
