In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining Muc-Off's compliance with global regulations, including those related to product safety, labelling, and packaging. You will work closely with our design and product development teams to ensure that our products meet all necessary standards and requirements. This will involve staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations, advising colleagues on best practices, and implementing process improvements to minimize risks and ensure ongoing compliance.
Your expertise will also extend to the systematic filing, maintenance, editing, and distribution of Safety Data Sheets and product technical files. You will be responsible for completing annual packaging waste declarations internally and as part of customer requests, as well as establishing and maintaining a Restricted Substance List (RSL) to ensure all new products follow agreed company policy. Furthermore, you will develop processes for ensuring compliance with transporting dangerous goods globally and manage product environmental and chemical legislation, working closely with relevant teams to ensure issues are resolved and policies such as REACH are adhered to.
Key responsibilities include providing support to export teams with customs and transportation requests, managing specific environmental requests through online portals across multiple EU markets, and supporting customer services with technical customer requests or concerns over products. We are looking for a skilled professional who can provide impact assessments and compliance strategies for Muc-Off products, effectively communicating complex requirements to a non-technical audience.
