Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered care to residents, respecting their individual choices and preferences.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Document care given, recording any changes and reporting them to the person in charge of the shift.
- Support residents' families and friends, keeping them informed at an appropriate level with due regard to confidentiality.
- Work with the Activities Team to develop engaging group and one-to-one activities that cater to residents' interests.
- Liaise with external agencies, such as healthcare professionals and social services, to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
