This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with students who will benefit greatly from your support and guidance.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Has experience working with children with autism or other learning requirements, or is a recent Psychology Graduate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students based on their Educational Healthcare Plans (ECHPs), monitoring their progress and achievements.
- Collaborate with pupils in small groups or one-on-one settings, tailoring instruction to meet the specific learning needs of vulnerable students.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment by effectively managing student behavior and promoting positive interactions.
- Communicate regularly with teaching staff, parents, and students regarding progress, challenges, and successes.
- Adhere to all safeguarding procedures and protocols, ensuring the well-being of every student is paramount.
