Job Title: Data Installation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Installation Specialist to join our team at Dalkia UK. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the installation and testing of structured network cabling, fibre optic, and voice cabling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and test structured network cabling, fibre optic, and voice cabling systems
  • Ensure adherence to engineering standards and health and safety regulations
  • Co-ordinate initial actions associated with client requests
  • Co-ordinate visiting specialist subcontractors for fire and security systems
  • Assist in the wider fire and security department as necessary
  • Manage workload and prioritise jobs appropriately
  • Provide reports on work and equipment as required
  • Undertake miscellaneous duties as requested by the client

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in installation, termination, and testing of structured network cabling from Cat5e to Cat7
  • 2 years' experience in fibre cabling installation, fusion splicing, and testing
  • CW1308 multi-pair voice installation and testing
  • Ability to work on own initiative and/or as part of a team
  • Effective communicator with the ability to lead a team
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Health and safety training
  • ECS card

Desirable:

  • City & Guilds (Electrotechnical Level 3) or recognised equivalent
  • Supervisory experience
  • IPAF certification
  • PASMA certification
