Job Summary:We are looking for a reliable and adaptable individual to provide academic support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to ensure the students receive the best possible education.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Assist the class teacher in lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring the curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of SEN pupils.
- Support pupils with engagement and encourage participation in class activities.
- Collaborate with the school team to develop and implement strategies to meet the diverse needs of SEN pupils.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of SEN and its impact on learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing school routines and priorities.
- Relevant qualifications and experience working with SEN pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
